World Cup 2018
Day 7 - Moscow - Portugal v Morocco
Long day, after wading through the scene of devastation that was St Petersburg at 6am this morning and hopping on a train to Moscow. The capital has been a little more difficult to navigate than St Petersburg, but we have found the locals equally hospitable. Will be sad to see Morocco go out, they’ve supported their team in massive numbers, and played some entertaining stuff. Honourable mention once again to the Latin American contingent. The Mexicans, Peruvians and Colombians seem to have formed some kind of heavy drinking alliance - not until today had I seen a group of fans buy 8 pints each on the 60th minute of a match. Great stadium, and like St Petersburg, a smooth match day experience.
