Peanut butter protein pancakes with banana
Since I’m not having chicken for lunch I’m taking in less protein, so I’m making up for that with protein food (in this case, protein pancakes). @phdnutritionuk peanut butter flavoured protein pancakes with @pipandnut almond butter & banana #ptnfit
Ass to Grass or Nah?⠀
There’s lots of things that inhibit full range of motion on a squat... One is tight calves, particularly with runners where repetitive strain tightens up the Achilles’ tendon ⠀
Take a solid object (kettlebell, dumbbell whatever) apply pressure on the area that’s tight... Myofascial release is a great technique for encouraging greater range of motion & increasing blood flow to the area before working out ⠀
Happy Squatting ⠀ #TrainSmart
The lovely people @phdnutritionuk sent me their new Smart shakes to try.
As you might know I’m already a huge fan of the smart whey so very excited to try these.
Today I went for the strawberry cheesecake flavour
Solid smoothness with no weird after taste that you get from some shakes.
Definitely recommend as a convenient low Calorie high protein fix.
Macros are decent too tbf especially now it’s bank on the diet
Great work and I now can’t wait to try the others
So after finding out I’m lactose intolerant, it’s become abit of a challenge finding something sweet to satisfy my sweet tooth.. If you know me well, you’ll know I’m an absolute peanut butter ambassador and that it’s my favourite thing in the world.. So I gave @phdnutritionuk peanut butter smart protein a go and made some lickle desserts with it using almond milk and sprinkled some dairy free chocolate buttons on top... This absolutely made my day, coming from someone that can’t make any food whatsoever, it’s so easy to whip up in a couple of minutes.!! #phd#phdnutritionuk#peanutbutter#pudding#dessert#lactoseintolerant#almondmilk
Another post of my Chocolate Brownie Protein Pancakes. The recipe for these can be found from my previous pancake post, so check that out if you want to make these babies

Chocolate Brownie Protein Pancakes
I have absolutely been loving pancakes recently, definitely satisfies my sweet cravings yet filling in my protein intake. I’m definitely a sweet pancake gal(but I do want to try out savoury pancakes one day!). The recipe I made uses an egg, you can replace it with flax eggs if you want to. I do also have a vegan pancake and a peanut butter pancake recipe so do let me know if you’re interested in those! Let’s get to the details!:
50g Flour (I used 20g Coconut Flour & 30g Oat Flour, you can use any type)
30g @phdnutritionuk Smart Protein Powder in Chocolate Brownie (again, you can use any branded chocolate protein powder)
130-160g Milk or Water (I used a combo of 90g Almond Milk & 60g Water. Also depends on how thick you want your batter).
Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Pour into pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Serve with anything of your choice, I always have my chocolate pancakes with @pipandnut almond butter & strawberries
