I wanted to share the struggles of wearing makeup with you guys. I mean, makeup is always fun to do and I find the process of putting on makeup therapeutic. But some people… just don’t see the art in playing with skin tones and eye/lip colors. Without further ado let's get started!
“You don’t need makeup”
Yes, I know I don’t need it. But I wantto. And excuse me, but why does my makeup bother you?
“You wear makeup because you’re insecure”
Wrong, sir. I’m beautiful without makeup. But I’m gorgeous with it on. I only ever win. Besides, insecurities come from within, you can’t hide them on your face.
Everyone automatically thinks you’re judging them
There is no right way to do makeup! Some people believe it’s better to do makeup without caking your face too much or making your eyebrows gradient. But does it really matter? Just ‘cause everyone does makeup one way, doesn’t mean that’s the only way to do your makeup. And no, I am not staring at your blocky eyebrows. If that’s the way you want to do it, go for it!
Your friends judge your makeup
They’ll be honest and tell you if something “doesn’t look right” or you didn’t blend your contour properly. I guess they’re just trying to be nice, so try not to get too demotivated.
Boys think you look completely different without makeup
Makeup enhances our beauty, it doesn’t hide what beauty is already there so…Move, child.
Ahhh…. The struggles of wearing makeup... But that won’t stop me from painting my face into art.
Qotd: What's your favorite movie?
