Ultra deep stretch, pause and contraction makes these no light hearted dip. Good points - full range of movement. Bad points - canโ€™t knock out near as many. Hereโ€™s the lowdown: Once youโ€™ve mastered new ranges of movement - itโ€™s a bit like riding a bike. Hard to learn, but once unlocked - hard to forget. It takes time to get there - but once youโ€™ve got it, itโ€™s hard to lose. These ainโ€™t one to go into light heartedly, and if you lack shoulder mobility - theyโ€™re as bad an idea as sticking a nail gun to your shoulders and pressing fire, Itโ€™s always important to not only master prerequisites but to also evaluate your training with risk and reward in what your doing. Dips do have a bad name already without getting fancy, but itโ€™s more that people jump into sprinting before they learn to stand. Master perquisites, before you add cherries. For me, this chest and shoulder opener takes the muscles and fascia encasing the anterior upperbody way beyond anything a barbell or Dumbell is capable of. This certainly is not one you wanna hit just because. But, and I confess - in all the years of my bench pressing - my shoulder mobility has always been a strong point for me personally. Another day, another smoothie. Bananas, berries, spinach, stinging nettles, ginger, dulse, barley grass juice powder and spirulina. Pretty complicated I know, usually I'm a simple smoothie kinda kind guy but been messing around with these for a while now and am enjoying making them and eating them. Trying to get more minerals into my system so been adding way more greens. Staying organic too.

Thing about it is, is those strong F$&@*rs you see in the gym, ainโ€™t hitting endless bicep variations - not to say biceps ainโ€™t a treat - but strength is also found in big movements. The strong guys move the kettlebells look like water off a ducks back. The constant unpredictability is the kettlebells demands continuous adjustments and stabilisation. This makes for a perfect blend to add into your programming - especially when your use to be typical โ€œbro splitโ€ or bodybuilding philosophy that isolates muscles and rarely places a focus upon end range lock out. Yesterday our course consisted of first aid and CPR. It was fantastic. It is so wonderful to be moving toward my dream. Last night we had some of Adelaideโ€™s Goodlife Fitness Directors come and speak to us. We had the opportunity to ask them loads of questions and learn all about their experiences and journeys in fitness. It was such a fantastic experience and now I might even have work experience plans! How freaking exciting. I canโ€™t wait to get into a gym and work in an industry I love! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿปโœจ

Yesterday I ate: green juice (okay good start)... cinnamon bun + coffee, froyo (actually sorbet), chips + slurpee (?! remember these ๐Ÿ˜‚ I got the friggin biggest sugar rush off a small one), oats (tryna bring it back in), protein bar @planet_protein aka the bestt, & a bagel ๐Ÿž๐Ÿฅค

Today I ate: @mountainsqueeze ginger shot, orange cold-pressed juice, red cold-pressed juice, kitchari, big veg salad, smoothie, oats... ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ซโœจ

Not cause I felt I needed to make up for yesterday or punish myself or โ€˜resetโ€™ etc etc - but because I got freaking sick of the junk (it literally stopped tasting good lol) & fake/temporary energy ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

For reference, my days are much more often a blend of dat heathh & treat yoself. Just wanted to be real here. I donโ€™t do extremes anymore. I eat what Iโ€™m craving, & I know the importance of health in terms of nutrition (itโ€™s HUGE), but also the importance of cinny buns when Iโ€™m having a poopy day ๐Ÿงš๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
