Leap of Faith - when you decide to do something even though you are not sure it is right or will succeed ...! What is your most defining Leap of Faith you took?
One of mine was this morning, while getting another set of experimental ozone therapy treatment...
Another memorable #leapoffaith of mine was couple months ago, when I decided to join 35 other brave, wild and crazy shipmates to jump into cold, and almost frozen Southern Ocean on our journey to Antarctica.
The large icebergs were floating in the distance, it was cold, freezing cold, the snowflakes were in the air, and while cheered on by the rest of the travelers and the crew, we jumped into the ice cold ocean
I wore the scarf not to keep warm, or to look fashionable, but trying to protect or at least partially shield my neck and tumor from the impact. Doctor’s recommendation was simple: “it’s up to you”, so I went for it. If he would have said NO, I wouldn’t jump.
Coincidentally, other medical doctors, even ICU nurses, were also taking this trip, so it was almost like having a huge medical team on stand-by just in case #synchronicity
Most of them also participated in this insanity!
The whole experience was so exhilarating! All of us were full of energy, and we partied up till late that night! Even though @quarkexpeditions kept us on a short leash - literally(for our safety).., it was an experience I highly recommend
