Chronic grief from an inflicted reality.
This picture marks the beginning of a new series titled “Deformatio Realitatis: Chronic grief from an inflicted reality”. Built from a mix of techniques, languages, thoughts, latitudes and realities; from the roots to the uncertainty, this project is just that.. a cry out against the erroneous and unsound muddle of the infinite reality we are stuck on. .
From a personal and introspective view, this series’ function is to document the process of continuously switching from the three phases it is divided into:
disforia — From the heaviness of a rejected, dark and cold reality;
obnubilatio — The nostalgic blurriness from dreaming endlessly about an alternate reality;
solatium — The comfort that comes by letting in a soothing, unknown reality.
For all that should be that is not.
For all that should not be, but is.
For all that is forever lost.
For all that never found its way back.
For all that is not mean to be.
For all that never happened.
For all that will never belong to me.
For all that arrived too soon.
For all that arrived too late.
For all that is out of my control.
For all the unrevealed kindness.
For the past.
For the present.
For the future.
