If you haven’t figured it out already, I love motivational quotes. Sometimes you just need a good kick in the pants, and I love that motivational quotes are a kick in the pants on-demand. This one really speaks to me. We want instant gratification. We want the reward now and we want to see our hard work pay off immediately. How many times have you given up on something just because you weren’t getting results as quickly as you wanted? I’m definitely guilty of it. But you’ve got to step back, and realize that the best thing you can do is put in the work, trust the process, and be patient for those results to come with time. Don’t abandon your goals because it’s taking a long time, that’s silly. That time is going to pass one way or another, so you may as well put in the work while the time passes otherwise you definitely won’t accomplish your goals.

For each of these squat variations remember to:
1. Keep contact with the ground with your entire foot.
2. Actively pull yourself to the bottom position, instead of “dropping” into it.
3. Use your feet to push the floor away and drive you back up to standing.
If you are holding a KB like one of the above variations, keep your elbows pointed down to the floor.

I believe is the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time I eat healthy and 20% of the time I enjoy eating whatever my heart desires. It is easy for me to sustain. .

Choosing to fuel my body with healthy food is how I show my body gratitude and respect. Your body is your vessel and taking time to appreciate it daily is important to me.
