The colors, Duke! The colors!
It’s #funfactfriday, so we’re coming in hot with a few fun wine color facts for ya:
•A purpleish tint in red wines usually indicates youth 🌂
•Seeing orange, amber or brown in reds means it’s likely aged (hopefully like Demi Moore)🍊🍁🍂
•The terms most commonly used to describe the colors of reds are purple, ruby, garnet, and tawny
•A greenish tint in white wine indicates youth. You can think of it like when someone says “he’s a little green but he’ll pick it up quickly”🍀
•Use lemon, gold, and amber (not rose) to describe your whites •In rosés, a bright purply-pink tends to mean it’s a young one 🍬🌸
•Rosé is usually pink, salmon (like a guy from Nantucket’s shorts) or orange •Orange and brown indicate age in whites and rosés too 🍊🌰
