Star Wars The Black Series
Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Carbonized Graphite Second Sister Inquisitor
Originally I was going to wait to get the Second Sister until after I play Fallen Order to determine if I even like her character.
But of course I didn’t bother waiting when I called my Gamestop and they had the carbonized exclusive.
The extra shininess actually adds significantly to her overall aesthetic. Looking at the trailer and photos from the game, it seems her suit has a slight sheen to it.
The helmet is very cool, as are her cape and shoulder pauldrons. The cape creates a more regal look, while the shoulder pads have a more militaristic look.
Articulation is actually pretty good. Her elbows go past 90 degrees, her torso joint is decent. I wish her helmet was done slightly differently so it could look upwards more, but that’s also just the design.
Paint is great, I don’t see any paint fleck. The red details go a long way for the overall look.
For accessories, other than the cape and shoulder pads, she just comes with her double-bladed spinning lightsaber. But it doesn’t spin. Still looks cool even though the blades are a little slacking in their holes.
For one of the first big female villains in Star Wars chronologically, her design is exceptional. The lines of her costume scream authority and deadliness.
The figure itself is great; I can’t wait to get Cal to recreate fight scenes from the game. Hopefully I can find a purge trooper or two too.
