Life is so precious. As I sit here with my Grandma in the ICU, this quote resonates me with in a way that is both beautiful and sad. These past few weeks have been blurs of moments filled with panic and pain, mixed in with flashes of relief and hope. In these moments filled with so much love, I am reminded that I am blessed to be here, holding her hand.
For anyone who knows me even casually, you know that my family is my highest priority. There have been times that others didn't understand the sacrifices I made to be with them, to support them or to spend time with them. That no matter what my schedule looks like, or how full my plate seems, that my weekly visits with my family are non-negotiables that I don't budge on. Especially now, I am forever grateful for all those precious seconds spent with them.
We all get so busy, and time passes so quickly. As much as I encourage the passion and pursuit of our dreams, I also feel it's important to share with you this reminder, of these priceless times that one will come to cherish even more after the moments have passed. Today, or tomorrow, or sometime this week, make space to spend time and be present with someone you love. In person, in a phone call, in a letter, or even in thoughtful remembrance.... These precious moments are what make up life's most cherished memories. #GratefulHeart #FamilyLove #PreciousMoments #SerenaLoves
