Crash Hot Potatoes soft pillowy potatoes that have been boiled and then baked for perfectly crispy edges! Can I get an amen? Oooh yeah!!! Boil your little white/Yukon gold baby potatoes until very fork tender, the smash/crash em up with your potato masher (to texture the tops, but do not break/smash all the way through). Drizzle the tops with some olive oil, salt and pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and some shredded cheese (parmesan or cheddar works great). Bake them at 450° for 15 minutes or until golden and crisp on top. Go crazy and adjust however you like! Variation- top them with some crispy bacon, cheddar, sour cream, and chives for a creative twist on loaded baked potatoes! Sooo good!
