my summer office/study. 🌻👌☉ reconnecting with nature whenever I can just helps me so much to centre, ground and balance. Not to mention the vitamin D boost you get from exposing yourself to the sun regularly.
. ↘Vitamin D functions:
☉ boosts immune system
☉ for efficient absorption of nutrients (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, etc.) ☉ reduces depression
☉ helps weight loss ☉ fights disease .
☉ also does Vitamin D influence our hormones: D-ficiency causes low estrogen levels in women and testosterone levels in men which affects sex drive and libido. Hence the ☉ sun is another reason for those hormone levels to be at their peak usually during the summer months. .
🛇 Beware of "sun bathing" - we are not meant to be in direct sunlight exposure when the sun is the highest. (Look at animals natural instincts: they seek share during the hottest times of the day!), this is where skin cancer actually comes in due to too intense sun exposure, perhaps more than through the chemical sunscreen. Healthiest times to soak up some rays are (depending on where in the globe you are) up to 10AM and between 2PM-4PM.☉👌
