This week's #TITuesday is a very special project: our own headquarters! The buildout of R&H's future home in The Hopper development has officially begun. Work underway includes the seismic upgrade, re-framing of the South exterior wall, construction of the footings for our outdoor plaza and installation of a new stormwater detention facility.
The design of @chelseafarmsoysterbar provides a fun and welcoming atmosphere for people to experience incredible local seafood and craft cocktails. Light and open, it has become a go to location for locals and visitors alike.
Part of our whole @222marketolympia redesign, the Oyster Bar features design elements like reclaimed wood from @windfalllumber, a wonderful bar for watching the bivalve preparation and extensive glass walls and windows. It all adds up to a unique Olympia space that's cozy enough for dates and open enough to bring community together.
This view never gets old. There is something about metal framing and exposed rigid ductwork. The ductwork and wood ceiling will all remain exposed to give the restaurant a more industrial look. This is the view from the mezzanine level looking towards the dining area and bar. Bands and musicians will set up each weekend on this mezzanine. @state48brewery
We also patch asphalt. There was a break between the threshold and the asphalt after resetting the door. The patch matches in color and texture.
Here is the changing room for the store. I posted the floor a couple weeks ago and kept forgetting to post the finished product.
