So, What is Yoga?
For some people, it’s the physical aspect as it was for me. You move your body, you stretch, you feel better. For others, it’s the place of escape where they just get out of their every-day life for that hour or so. Then there are those who see and feel the connection between the body and the mind when doing yoga and they can not live without that feeling anymore.
In reality, yoga is not yoga if there is no “connection”. The connection between the breath and the body, the connection between each muscle and the body, the connection between the breath and movement. These connections translate to the union of everything. Yoga actually translates as “union” from Sanscrit language. So, if you just do yoga for the physical aspects of it and you don’t connect the breath per movement, then you don’t really do “yoga”, you just do another physical practice. And there is nothing bad about it – everybody has a choice. I just want to show you that yoga can offer unlimited possibilities to a lot of things.
