haven’t actually worked out in over a WEEEEK. and i’m alive!!!! who woulda thought?!
i love the gym and that’s why i go. but my body has been feeling weak and fatigued af, so instead of forcing myself to workout & prolonging the fatigue - which i would’ve done in the past - i’ve just been rollin with it. taking things easy & listening to whatever my body is telling me. .
just a reminder - time off from the gym isn’t the end of the world. just like one week of working out won’t give you huge muscles, one week of rest won’t derail all of your “progress” or make you gain a ton of weight. our bodies aren’t indistructable machines that can work at peak performance 24/7 365 days a year. in the grand scheme of life, one week is literally NOTHING. rest when you need it ppl👏🏽
