Didn't get to post this yesterday but it is beyond disappointing to hear that Marcus Morris turned down a 3 year, $41M contract that the Clippers offered him but I was happy to hear that he parted ways with Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.
Sure Clippers were able to acquire a solid forward in Moe Harkless with their cap space but I felt that Morris would've been a better fit with his ability to play both forward spots and is a better shooter. It still worked out in the end for the Clippers, they got Moe, a draft pick that helped us get PG-13, and a solid prospect in Mathias Lessort.
Since Morris signed only signed a one year deal with the Knicks, maybe Clippers can try again next summer to add him to the team. I still hope Clippers can add a power forward or center, maybe Jonas Jerebko, Jarrell Martin, Amir Johnson, or Kosta Koufos. Any of them would fit it nicely with this team.
