English Below 👇🏾 Saudi Arabia and wearing Abayas ..
some of you ladies still might be wondering about what to wear when you are in #saudiarabia.
Have you read the public decency violations and penalties!? And what do you think you should wear?
ofc there are some of you that are happy to not have to wear the abaya when u are visiting .. but hey, how about give it a chance .. i would like to tell you more about abayas from my perspective as a saudi woman ..
we, as saudi women, pretty much wear it ever single day .. and also as an entrepreneur in the business world, it is the way I look professional as a saudi woman, in my opinion.
ofc I am not wearing it while camping or hiking or on any activities outdoors.
it is not that bad as the media would tell you. actually as much as you wear coats, jackets or blazers in the western world we wear abayas .. we care so much about the design that you can find abaya designs in @voguemagazine and they are designed by saudi women fashion designers ..
abayas can be found in many colors and designs around here. Prices of abayas can start from 30USD up to more than 5k USD .. it depends on who designed it and where those material came from + what those materials are.
I am used to seeing visitors here trying our traditional outfits and abayas in particular .. as it is really fun to try other culture dress or outfits whether it is a traditional one or just what they use in their daily lives, isn't it? i know it is as i do buy / wear and try local / traditional clothes from other countries during my travels ..
do let me know if you want me to feature abaya designers for you .. or maybe we can go abaya shopping together when you are here 😘
