The last two days have been such a blessing! Friday, Morgan was out of school. All throughout the day, we received shipments from the Young Living Foundation, Amazon, and Walmart. We spent the afternoon and evening preparing non-toxic cleaning care packages and essential oils for 30 displaced members in the path of Hurricane Michael. Molly called with a car load of donations she had been collecting as well.
This morning, Paul, Morgan, and I got up extra early and set out for Lynn Haven and Panama City. We dropped off Molly’s donations of school supplies, toys, games, and warm coats to a teacher from Lynn Haven. He’ll make sure they get to people who need them. We also left some of the cleaning supplies and oils with our friends in Lynn Haven.
Next, we went to Panama City to meet up with Michelle and drop off supplies for her family and friends in the area. Her husband works with the Sheriff’s department there. We equipped him with some Valor for the brave men and women who work to keep everyone safe.
We ended our deliveries with a visit to Gloria. She’s an Executive with Young Living in Panama City. A couple dozen of her members have been displaced. We dropped off the remaining supplies with her to be distributed with her members. While we were at Gloria’s we met Brandon. He is 5 years old and with a big smile he told us he loves Ningxia Red. That melted my heart! Of course I had to hand that precious boy a packet of Ningxia Red. Just watch my story of him sucking that pouch down to the last drop! Soooo adorable! Brandon’s mom was there too. Her English wasn’t as good as Gloria’s so she interpreted for her. Apparently, this sweet mom had been battling eczema and now it’s all gone. 😲 She cleans homes for a living and has completely switched to non-toxic Thieves Household Cleaner. She was sooooo happy to get a few items to keep cleaning without the toxins.
Our day has been long but it’s been so sweet and rewarding! Thank you to the Young Living Foundation for helping bring smiles to many faces today! As you place your orders, please check the box to “Round Up” your orders. Those pennies add up and help to support projects like... cont in comments.
