There is absolutely NO honor in murder especially not the cold blooded premeditated murder of your own children, Its been over a DECADE time to bring Amina and Sarah Said justice. Also Patricia Owens the girls so called mother is just as responsible for the murders of her daughters, No she didn't pull the trigger but she served these girls up to their father to be executed. #AminaSaid #SarahSaid #YaserAbdelSaid #YaserSaid #Wanted #FBI #MostWanted #CapitalMurder #CatchYaserNow #PatriciaOwens #LockHimUp #LockHerUp #HonorKilling

In December, after Christmas Day,Amina and Sarah ran away with their mother, Patricia, to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Amina's boyfriend had relatives. Patricia had then allegedly told her daughters that December 31 was her mother's death anniversary and that she wanted to drive toΒ East TexasΒ to put flowers on her grave, later telling them they would return to Yaser. Sarah reluctantly went, while Amina refused. Patricia drove to Amina's friend's house and pounded on the door, starting an argument with Amina to try and convince her to go back. Amina still refused to go. Patricia insisted and stood unmoved in the doorway, saying her father had forgiven her and would like the girls to return home.

On January 1, 2008, Yaser took Amina and Sarah to his taxi cab, telling them he was taking them out to eat. Patricia had wanted to come along, but Yaser had told her that he wanted to talk to the girls alone. He drove them both to Irving, where he shot both girls to death in the taxi cab. Sarah managed to callΒ 911Β before she died, stating "Help, my dad shot me! I'm dying, I'm dying!".Yaser's taxi was soon discovered by another cab driver outside a hotel.

Yasser Said is still on the run. Please re-share this photo to help spread awareness about Honor Killings and to stop this practice. R.I.P to Amina & Sarah <3

AMINA YASER SAID
Born: March 2 1989
Died: January 1 2008
Age: 18

Amina Said was a promising young Egyptian-American high school student living her life like any other American teen would. The daughter of Yaser Abel, an Egyptian father who is Muslim and Patricia, an American mother who is Christian, Amina along with her sister Sarah were bright students with a promising future. Like any other young girl coming of age, Amina, a senior at Lewisville High School in Lewisville, Texas (their brother Islam, also attended the school) was interested in school activities such as pep rallies and student clubs. She was also fostering a positive personal relationship with another male student at school, which apparently brought anger and resentment to her strict father.
With a tendency of being very verbal and violent, the girls' father, Yaser Abdel Said, was not tolerant of his daughters' wanting to live the American Dream and not be forced into arrange marriages as many young women in the Middle East are forced into. In a fit of rage, Mr. Said took both Amina and her sister Sarah for a drive on Tuesday, January 1, 2008. He told them that he wanted to take them out for a bite to eat, however, in what police classify as an "honor death" related crime, Mr. Said shot both of his daughters in the backseat of his car and disappeared into thin air. With this honor death, Mr. Said preferred to see his daughters dead rather than bring shame to his family for living their lives like any normal American teenager. This barbaric act which goes against the teachings of Islam, is still practiced in many Middle Eastern societies. Although there are laws that prohibit "honor death" in many Middle Eastern nations, there are some areas where Sharia law is prevalent and where the practice is tolerated.
Yaser Abdel Said, who holds dual U.S. and Egyptian citizenship still remains on the run from the law and is wanted by the FBI for capital murder. The double homicide has been featured in an episode of the long running FOX network show "America's Most Wanted." #aminasaid #dallastexas

The last words from Sarah were β€œOh my God, I’m dying.” Then the 911 emergency operator heard a barrage of gunshots. Sarah, 17, and her sister Amina, 18, were found shot 11 times in the back of their father’s taxi, abandoned in a hotel parking lot.
Their father Yaser Said has not been found since that New Year’s Day 7 years ago when he told his daughters to climb into his cab, he was taking them out to dinner.

The chilling documentary "The Price of Honor", recounts the lives of 2 American teenagers growing up in the Dallas, Texas, and their attempts to escape the grip of an Egyptian father who planned Muslim marriages.

Their deaths were honor killings, said Ruth Trotter. Amina was secretly dating Trotter's son, Joseph, and Sarah had a boyfriend too, facts they tried to hide from their father.
"Amina always knew that Yaser was going to murder her, it was just a question of when and where. She made Joseph promise that he would not harm himself, that when she dies he would live," Trotter said in an interview.

He beat the girls and took them to Egypt to find husbands when Amina was 15 and picked one man who was almost 50. She begged and pleaded with her mother to come back home, she said.

Its forms range from domestic violence for defying parental authority or behaving "too Westernized," to extreme sexual control including female genital mutilation (FGM), forced marriage and ultimately killings to protect the family's reputation in a conservative community.

The maternal grandmother recounts in the documentary how she alerted the police when the girls confided that their father was sexually touching them. But she said Amina and Sarah recanted, urged on by their American mother to keep daddy out of jail. Private investigators uncovered a video showing the father spying on his daughter as she worked in a convenience store and his anger when she smiled at a customer.

They uncovered cellphone records that showed Yaser Said making multiple calls to family members immediately before and after his daughters' deaths. Then he disappeared. Almost 7 years later Yaser Said remains at large.
