For those that have been wondering which resin I use and how I mix my resin.. Here's a super quick video!
Firstly, you'll notice that there are two bottles that make up the resin - a hardener and the resin. I mix these together using a 1:1 ratio for 3 minutes to create the final product that I use to for my coasters and jewelry. As I like to just use whatever I have at home... I mainly do all my mixing in red solo cups and with a popsicle stick. I use a measuring cup to measure equal parts of water into my cup and make a mark using a permanent marker. That way, when I pour my resin and hardener, I know where to stop
Side note: I use @art_resin and have been for almost 2 years now. I love how simple it is to use and how I can use it safely in my own home studio without having to wear masks or worry about breathing in toxic substances. I am sure there are a ton of other brands and companies out there, I am just sharing my own (un-sponsored) experience
Although resin is definitely pricier than most other materials, I have absolutely fell in love with the shiny results and the versatility of using it to create so many different products!
