HOME WORKOUT.... Featuring a towel!
Two in one, exercise and clean the floor at the same time 🤣
Here are a few ideas if you can’t get out of the house to go to the gym or you don’t have access to any equipment. Maybe you’re traveling or you have kids at home but you still want to spice up your body weight workouts.
All you need is 2 towels and a little bit of floor space, simple as that! Let me know what you think! 🙃🙃🙃
Pike and knee tuck
Drag your feet in bringing your knees towards your chest. Make sure your shoulders stay forward over your hands. Then fold yourself in half, legs straight whilst bringing your feet to your hands for your pike. Keep your tummy tucked in to keep your core engaged.
Mountain climber combo
Two towels one on each foot. Open and close into a star with your legs. Mountain climbers followed by a push up for a further challenge. Can drop to your knees when doing your push up for a regression. The slower the mountain climbers the more core engagement and control, but to raise the heart rate speed them up!
Staying on the same leg for one set. Slide back for a reverse lunge, a side lunge and a forward lunge continuously. Repeat on the other side after the time is up.
Push up slide
This one is challenging but if you’ve got the strength come up onto your toes to make I harder. Hold down in your push up extend one arm out and bring it back in before you press up. Alternating sides using one towel in each arm.
For this workout go for time
1 minute of each exercise but rest if you can’t complete the minute continuously.
3-4 sets depending on how much time you have and how fatigued you feel
5m each set because the lunges take 2m one minute each side.
This little workout will only take you 15-20m depending how many sets you do. A nice quick sweat sesh!
