I have two - first and foremost me, I’m a wife, mum of three and I’m always at the bottom of the list. It’s my turn.

My second why is pictured. My son has an undiagnosed disability #specialneeds but for one thing he is fast. My pocket rocket. When he has his sight on something, he will not communicate it to you, he will take off and run! No fear, know idea on dangers. It’s scary.

Are you ready to get into the BEST shape of your life?
Before you begin there's one important thing you need to have down packed... WHY?

Do you know why you want it? Your WHY, or reason for wanting to achieve a goal, is your core motivation because it connects you to what fires you up most. The key to determining your why is to just ask yourself: Why do I really want to lose weight? Why is it important to me? If your WHY motivates you toward weight loss, go with it.
Maybe you want to stay healthy for your children, or just look hot in a bikini. Perhaps you have always wanted to be a size 6 or you are simply tired of being overweight. If it motivates you, it’s a good thing. Everyone is motivated by different things. Just identify what motivates you. Once you do, you can use your WHY to propel you to your goal by doing the following things:

1) Stay Committed to Your Why: Go all in like there is no option to fail. Decide now to start a healthier journey and realise there will be days you don't deem a success. That doesn't mean you have to give up. It’s a journey so there will be ups and downs. Remember WHY you started and just keep going.
2) Write down your WHY and keep it somewhere you can see it daily. Maybe your WHY is “Look good in photos at my friend’s wedding.” If you look at that simple sentence daily, it will re-connect you to your WHY. You may also want to jot down why it’s important to you for added motivation. Writing connects you to what you are truly thinking and feeling and it can be a real motivator.

3) Visualise Your Why: What does your why look like? Maybe you have an image of you that you love and you want to look like that picture again. Pull out that picture and put it in a place where you can see it every day. If you want to become a runner or have flat abs, find an image that inspires you and post it up as motivation.

How much water do you drink per day?

Chance are it's not enough!! When you are hungry, have a BIG glass of water.
A lot of the time we mistake thirst for hunger.
The same goes for fatigue if your feeling tired, don't reach for something sugary to pick you, have some water.

Better yet consistently drink water throughout the day. You will find you have more energy and you will be less likely to snack.

WOW! The whirlwind that has been the week of my WBFF debut is now over and I’m feeling an overwhelming mix of emotions. Im still pinching myself that I made this dream come true, and it has opened my eyes to a world of possibility.
Today your girl heads back home with this genuine smile and a confidence nobody can take away from me, because 2018 has been the year I just decided to apply this simple concept to my life: “If it’s not a F**k YES - it’s a no”.....So I said Yes - to every opportunity resonating with me that has come my way. I said yes to throwing myself out of my comfort zone when I didn’t believe in myself. I said yes to joining @the_sportsmodel_project. I said yes to further education because I now have a vision and drive. I’ve said yes even though it’s sent me broke - because I was in a terrible place and knew something needed to change. And then I have learnt to say NO - I stopped listening to people who tried to keep me in my box and play small, I’ve stood my ground when I need to, pushed through every single voice in my head to get me to where I am now. ———————————————————————————
On the outside the sport of competing may seem all about aesthetics and glamour, but underneath lies a mental commitment within every competitor that I admire 💖 -
This prep has tested and transformed my mind aswell as my physique and I know this is just the tip of the iceberg as I reflect on lessons learnt and reset for the months ahead.
