THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET PERSONAL. While I am "lean", and look like a "model", I have lost a lot of size for 3 reasons. 2 of them more connected, but all connected.
1. Severe injuries - destroying my knee, I cannot really change this. It is out of my control. But i could have been trained smarter. R.I.P. Legs.
2. I have spent the majority of a year in a caloric deficit- this is stupid on my part. Although I have been very lean, I have lost muscle and it has lead to 3.
3. Minor injuries, pain, tendonitis- Prolonged dieting and over training causing these symptoms. Training hard is needed to preserve muscle, but after a while too much of it, and too long of a diet leads to overtraining, small injury, etc. = I am going to return to caloric maintenance, and maybe even a surplus. I need to get my hormones and injuries in check. Hopefully over this period of time I can get some strength and maybe muscle back.
Seriously, I have not gone to the gym to make gains in forever... TLTR: I am entering bear mode.
