As another 8 week #mytransphormationstartstoday challenge comes to an end, I’m doing a lot of reflecting....
💛This journey started for me about 2.5 years ago, after having my 2nd son. It wasn’t about weight loss to me, it was all about feeling good in my own skin....feeling more confident...feeling healthier. .
💛I always refer to this as a journey, because that’s exactly what it is! It’s never over...I’m always learning more about myself and this process. And with this journey, my mindset has changed from time to time!.
💛At the beginning of this challenge, I was so focused and almost obsessed with numbers...having to be a certain number on the scale, a number pant size...that I was losing sight of what this truly means to me and how far I’ve come!.
💛1/2 way through the challenge, I made a shift with a couple of things....
1. I stopped weighing myself (my own personal choice)
2. I started really focusing on only eating the foods that made me feel good.
3. Rather than tracking every single thing I ate, I started to focus more on portion sizes, made sure to still get in my 140g of protein everyday, as well as forcing myself to slow down when I ate(still a struggle) and only eating when I was truly hungry vs. bored, stressed, etc.
