After a ridiculously long edit, I finally finished my "Hanksville Milky Way" shot from this past spring. I drove out with perfectly clear skies and after venturing out into the hills in the dark (with no idea where to go), I stumbled upon this vista as the clouds began to roll in. Trying to create a panorama of the milky way as the clouds drift by make for a challenging edit to avoid drastic stitching lines (which I always screw up), and after several hours of messing around I think I got most of those lines taken care of.
While I prefer those crystal clear cloudless nights, the clouds do add a rather interesting dynamic with the Milky Way behind. Anywho, hope y'all enjoy.
