I grew up around redwoods growing tall in every corner, and I always wanted to end up back in NorCal despite wanting to escape it my entire life. I’m a cancer, so naturally I love my home.
But I realized I can find home anywhere; I get easily attached to the places that I find comforting. I can think of a space in every place in the world that I’ve traveled to that I have felt at home, and wanted to call home. This world is amazing. This Earth oozes with beauty, it’s breathtaking and mesmerizing everywhere you go.
As an activist and always a deep thinker, I definitely have a lot to say. I know a lot of you are travelers, but all of you call Earth home. Think about how the choices you make everyday can either hurt your home or make it flourish. Beauty doesn’t ever come from being thrown at with trash, it comes from care and consciousness. I cry every time I think about how much the world can change if we came together to realize this. The Earth can’t do it alone, we each, individually have a responsibility. #EarthDayIsEveryday
