Finished Live action movie: "Your Lie in April" [Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso]
The movie was amazing in my opinion. The movie did great portraying the light hearted, innocent, colorful premise and music of the anime series. I understand that it was difficult to jam pack an anime series into a 2 hour movie, but the movie rendition provided the core of which Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso was trying to express. I do however wanted the movie to have dive more into the story of the anime but that's just my opinion. The movie itself was really emotional, but to me, the movie did not really capture or at least invoke the same strong emotions I felt while watching the anime. Don't get me wrong, I did tear up while watching. (Do note it has been a year or two since I finished the anime series). Maybe I just might be biased, since I really enjoyed the anime. Despite that, I truly enjoyed watching the live action of this anime. The movie brought back memories of strong and beautiful emotions felt when I first watched and finished the anime. The movie/anime has a special place in heart because it captures the essence of young love and slice of life that is portrayed through colorful art and music. It's anime series/live action like this that really makes watching anime worth it. Thank you "Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso / Your Lie in April" for the beautiful art, colorful music, and impactful emotions that you gave me.
I might just rewatch the anime series! #yourlieinapril #shigatsuwakiminouso #anime #animelove #animecommunity #animecouple #animefans #otakuworld #otaku #violin #piano #kawaii #love
