FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I don't swear (or at least, I don't like doing it)
There are a few reasons why, but one of the main ones is because (being honest) I just think most swear words sound ugly. A shallow sentence reason, I know Saying something that sounds gross or angry to me like some of that language does makes me uncomfortable and feel gross myself. And then I remember in uni I did a lot of arts subjects and we discussed linguistics and language, and whether any current day words still had the shadows of their past meanings attached to them. Everyone unanimously agreed that swear words, though they can be used in a much lighter context now, still retained that idea that they weren't good, pleasant or kind language. That they were generally hurtful. And it was in these classes that I thought 'DANG - language is tough!' Now does this mean I judge anyone else who swears? BY NO MEANS! I have a wonderfully wide and diverse group of beautiful people in my life who use colourful, emotional and full-of-life language all the time. And they are the best!! For some of them, swear words is freeing/fun/whatever and I am all about that personal freedom to do and say what is on your mind! I want them to feel their best and to know that they can express themselves however they feel to me. Because I love them so much!
A big ol' "YOU DO YOU", I would say, more than applies here Anyway... ENJOY THIS FUN(ish) (but mostly random and forgettable) FACT and have the most wonderful week! Full of swears if you are partial, or not full of them at all if you aren't! PS THIS VEGAN GF BEEDAY SPREAD WAS OFF THE CHARTS AND I WAS SO STOKED AT THE ABUNDANCE OF GOODIES MADE AVAILABLE TO ME IN THIS COUNTRY SO MUCH THANKFULNESS!!
