The Korean franchise, bbq, aims to provide an ambient, comfortable environment to enjoy best quality food and healthy recipes from Korea. The underlying principle of the franchise is to serve ‘best of the best quality’ in terms of food, service, environment and architectural creativity.
With this thought in mind, the architects of the project went to great details to craft out the best experience for diners. One of the challenges of this project, was to emphasize the indirect entry which was on the secondary road, since the main avenue front already served an entrance for another franchise.
The interior boasts excellent detail work and craftsmanship, with fair faced concrete formwork tables on the terrace, customized wooden tables and chairs indoors, and wood-block walls with laser cut details. The arrangement in plan also allows for varied seating places, with cozy corners to central tables, as well as diner styled compartments.
