I’ve felt so bleh about posting lately. Haven’t found a good spot for pictures, which knocks out some of my motivation right there, and half the weeks I’m so busy all Sunday I don’t have time! Plus, I’ve been stress-eating for what feels like years and hardly fit into any of my clothes. But it’s important to me to document the ups and the downs and be as real as I can. No touching up, just me in my thrifted Sunday outfits, being grateful to have a body at all, no matter how I feel. Grateful for God, a beautiful family, to feel the sun (even if I want to be bundling up right now!), to have a kindred-thrifter 8-year old daughter to take my outfit picture for me. (Can you believe that? She’s so good!) Found a spot in our yard with pretty light today and had my girl take a few shots to catch up on some outfits, so I’ll get those posted soon...
Today I channeled Wednesday Addams for my Halloween Sunday look — although when this outfit came together, the first thing it reminded me of was Mary’s outfit in Dumb and Dumber, right?? Added my 2/$1 Target cat pin and it felt Halloween-y. This skirt is a way oldie from my first thrifting days in St. Louis.
I’m enjoying my @magnus_clothing_co detachable Peter Pan collar! I need some tighter crew necks to make it work better though. Guess it’s time to go thrifting! Check out her shop, it’s all the cutest!
Top - $1.25, ARC (Broomfield)
Skirt - $2.50, Value Village (St. Louis)
