Turkish artist Garip Ay is not your everyday artist – he paints on water! Using Ebru, one of the oldest Turkish arts, he forms colorful patterns by sprinkling and brushing color pigments on a pan of oily water. Later, these patterns are transferred to paper, resulting to unique, mesmerizing paintings.
This video shows Garip demonstrate Ebru while he attempts to recreate a portrait of the 'Post Impressionist' painter - Vincent Van Gogh.
