Another review! => [JOLSE] TIAM My Signature Red C Serum 30ml
Jolse.com was kind enough to send me the TIA’M My Signature Red C Serum for review. Strangely enough, it’s actually red (as you can see in the pictures). It has a higher viscosity than you would assume, for a serum even though it’s definitely still a watery serum. The #red colour is because of the #vitaminb12 .
This serum is supposedly better than the #mysignaturecsource for fighting #acne as well as dark spots and red marks. It really focused on blemishes, rather than anti-aging (or that’s what the marketing materials say). The serum contains 20% #ascorbicacid and it’s also the second ingredient. Third ingredient is #alcohol but fourth on the list is #niacinamide (already better). Clearly, with the vitamin C and niacinamide so high on the list, the brightening properties should be pretty solid. Other ingredients included are #hyaluronicacid #glutathione (and antioxidant). I’m not very fond of the orange peel oil, because this can be irritating for some.
It smells slightly #minty and keeps on smelling faintly like menthol for a few minutes. I use the oil after #cleansing and #acids in my routine (my #copperpeptides are after). I use a few drops for my face and it sinks in very quickly. My skin feels like it’s covered in a very thin plastic-like layer, like it’s about to peel off and I need more than usual of my copper serum. Subsequent use of a single drop for my entire face, and using my copper serum first improves on this feeling. A little. My face still feels a bit stocky.
Continuing with the rest of my routine, the #stickiness does not really disappear until I layer on my oil-based #moisturiser (which is #stratialiquidgold by the way). And when I top it with my #cosrx overnight mask (the #lowphbhaovernightmask) the sticky feeling is entirely gone. The next day, I cannot say blemishes have decreased, but I do feel my skin looks radiant. Compared to when I use #theordinary #ALA or when I use my mandelic/salicylic peel consistently. Only longer use of the serum would indicate if blemishes and dark spots decrease, but l assume they would.
