All of YOU - Mums, Dads, Men, Women, Grandies, teens, kids, babes! EVERYONE!
We want to raise awareness for Post Natal Depression.
Most of us know somebody who has or is struggling with parenthood. We know it is not easy being a mother or a father and we also know that no one can really prepare you for the hardest job on earth.
We want to bring people together to enjoy each other’s company in a fun environment.
On October the 27th, we are going to host a large (lets get it large) group session at Rauora Park in the centre of Christchurch.
We see this not only as a workout (scaled to ALL abilities) but also an opportunity for the whole family to get out and enjoy the sunshine (please sun shine down on us)! We will be setting up two areas:
The first for the workout itself hosted by Lisa @moveitmamasparkleon and Reece McCaffrey @athletetrainingsystems
Staging and PA from our good friends at HireKing Christchurch.
The second for families, Mums, Dads, friends of OURS, children and Grandparents. We’ve got a coffee cart @kea_coffee and @theburgerjointnz flipping burgers on site. Not to mention a bouncy castle for the kids.
The session will kick off at 10:30am. We will probably exercise for maybe 30 minutes but please, it’s for EVERYONE so just know you will be supported and always remember HOW amazing you’ll feel afterwards!
Then @adapted_yoga_pilates will be taking the cool down and relaxation.
We are doing this to support a special group of people who need to be supported. Let’s open up our hearts. Any small or large donation will be greatly appreciated.
We want to raise as much as possible in terms of donations but also AWARENESS.
Let’s all get together and meet to show that people don’t have to struggle alone.
