Wake up 💥 your abs with this combination designed to trim your mid-section! Using one weighted ball from the @laurengriffithcollection found on @vitagoods.

1️⃣ Begin in a side plank, with your right hand on a mat and your left arm extended to the sky (holding the weighted ball). Modify with your right knee on the mat.

2️⃣ Punch your left hand to the ground, then to the sky. Repeat 10-15 reps.

3️⃣ Lower your right knee to the mat. Lift your left leg to hip height. Scoop your left arm underneath your body, then reach your arm to the sky. Gaze follows. Repeat 10-15 reps.

4️⃣ Draw your left elbow to your left knee, while maintaining a stable lower body. Repeat 10-15 reps.

Whaaaaaaaat! When you’re out at Mexican food, and you’re amaaaaaazing, sweet, freaking AAAAAADORABLE ❤️friend❤️ and fellow coach (cause duh coach life YASSSSS) sees your stories and says to her hubbs “let’s go! They’re at the Mexican place! We must meet up with them!” And strolls in and you scream and yell cause you’re that excited.😍👭😍⁣

Feels so good to be home! I'm such a homebody and as much as I love doing a day trip theres just no place like home.

We had a super busy productive day today got a ton of stuff that I had been wanting to do checked off.

The little guy went to bed super early after eating two whole food pouches today! Which is a first for us! Were working on having him eating more solid foods so if any mommas have any tips I will gladly take them.

Because goals don't just happen.
I 😍 food, so skipping my workout was not an option today. Treated myself to a feast for lunch. I enjoyed knowing I would get to burn off some of the calories tonight.

Most of the time when I ask myself "is this meal worth the extra workout?" the answer is "No". Today's lunch was a firm "yes" in my book. Enjoy the treats, just make sure they're really worth it. When you know they are, you enjoy them that much more.

Never do late workouts anymore and man it kicked my ass.
Washed up, sat to relax and the kiddo came out to the living room covered in vomit 🤢. Got up too quick and it was EVERYWHERE.
She has no fever so thinking it was from congestion. Poor kid.
She’s all bathed up and back in bed.
And mama is headed there soon.

Did you know it only takes 10 minutes of movement to reap the benefits of exercise? I have a nice little head cold going on and had to modify my entire workout and could only do 20 minutes, and even that took me 40 minutes to complete! You don’t have to be a cardio ninja to get endorphins flowing and stress reduced. Just move, give yourself grace, and drink alllll the water. Your body will thank you!

I got home from work today and found out Maple 🐶 had peed in her crate 🤭. So I gave her bath then sat down on the couch only to realize at some point she decided to also pee on the couch 😫 I found that out because I sat in it 😖

Friday or FriYAY?! It’s getting colder and colder by the day here in East Tennessee. I’ve been wearing layers and layers under coats and socks... to say I wasn’t built for the cold weather is an understatement. With all the sweater weather it can be easy to chill on diet and fitness and gain a few holiday lbs.

But let me be the first to remind you on this cold November night:

SUMMER ☀️ BODIES ARE MADE IN THE WINTER ❄️ So get that workout in! Eat that salad. Drink that water. Still live your life and enjoy the holidays but 80% of the time, rock that healthy lifestyle!

Even though I was not very active growing up, I have gone to the gym regularly for most of my adult life.
I never felt like it really wasn’t working for me but I never saw or felt any real results.
2 years into my journey of working out from my laptop, 90% at home I am still taken aback by it all.
Even on work days that start really early and seem long, I can rest assure that I can come home, drink my energy juice, throw on some workout clothes, fire up the computer and get a really solid workout in!
Simple, effective, fun
I feel the day melt away and the tension lift.

To you it may seem like just another flex picture.

To me, it’s years of hard work. Countless times saying no to the food I wanted but didn’t need. And plenty of other times saying yes to the those same foods that 1) I didn’t need and 2) were not the best options.
.
I never imagined my legs could be so defined, not prepping for a competition. This is legit my legs on the regular. And I couldn’t be more proud of my efforts. You ready to see what you can do??

Why do you work out?
.
.
I have been in love with being physically active since I started playing sports way back in third grade, and at this point, it is simply a part of who I am, and contributes greatly to many of my character traits. However, after I was no longer an athlete, I started to intensely work out just with my physical appearance in mind and as my end goal.... I would beat myself up for missing work outs and even force myself to exercise when I was sleep deprived and really needed rest. This was something I could only sustain for so long. Fast forward a little to when I got pregnant --> I started to view my body SO differently and realized the importance of health over my appearance, and thats when my mindset shift began...💫

Its been such a long journey to figure out why I actually LOVE working out on a regular basis. So here is what I have learned about myself:
1. I exercise as a form of self respect, because I LOVE how amazing I feel afterwards - mentally, physically and emotionally.
2. Exercise is all a mind game, and I love claiming my power and showing myself time after time how strong I am.
3. There are so many health benefits which I think we all know by now, but honestly the calmness, confidence and spiritual connection I feel after a good sweat just makes my day.
4. I want my son to grow up with a mom who takes her health seriously - we lead by example!
5. Its okay to miss a work out and I love myself even more on those days, because the inner warrior in me knows I will work even harder the next day.
6. Its actually helps me sleep better at night and have more energy during the day.
7. It also makes me feel like I have my life together. 😂 I can't control everything, but this is something I do have control over every day.
8. I have a vocal chord dysfunction and I have found that cardio helps me manage that.
9. I love building my discipline & showing up for myself as much as possible, so I can better show up to the rest of the world.
10. The more seriously I take my overall health & wellness, the more my business thrives. 💚

My workout happened later tonight then I’m use to. .

It was everything I HATE about working out. Cardio. Catcher burpees. Lunges. High knee running. I hate it so much I was actually happy to do the core work because it meant I could lay on the floor. .

My mind kept telling my body I couldn’t go any longer. I couldn’t push just one more round. I couldn’t fight through the burn or the pain. .

There were tears, swear words, and a lot of self doubt. But I survived. And feel so dang strong.

I’m amazed to know that no matter how sore or tired I am my numbers grow and i am gaining speed and strength! @thechrisdowning

Okay guys, how about a meal idea? Back story👉 Josiah and I are obsessed with the "Brunch Burger" 🍔 at Finleys Tap here in Springfield. It's our usual Friday night "treat yo self" 💁‍♀️ meal. If you haven't tried an egg on your burger yet, honey, your missing out! But with the upcoming holiday feasts approaching I wanted to come up with a way to indulge a little bit but still stay on the right track. .
