It’s one thing if the January gym crowds take all the cardio machines. Yesterday after work I couldn’t even get into the gym. I pulled into the parking lot where there were no spots left and cars were double parking. Yeah no. I wound up just going home.
Even with that, making excuses to not work out won’t cut it. I’m bloated today 🤦🏽‍♀️ My roomie made lasagna and that was the first time I’ve had legit dairy in a while. My 15 day reset ended on Monday, but I promised myself that I am going to live 80/20. Tomorrow I am picking back up on the gym train with @ilubbabubba and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s a lot easier to achieve your goals when you have someone who pushes you and helps cheer you on! •
Today I worked on my arms and finished with light abs - my arms are definitely my weak spots. •

Happy #womancrushwednesday 💗💗💗 today I’m crushing hard core on myself. Over one year ago when I started 80 day obsession on the day of launch I was terrified. Terrified I would quit. Terrified I was fail. Terrified I was “too weak” to complete the program. 80 days later I finished. I finished one of the most intense programs I had ever done. And today, one year later, I am 10 days into my 2nd round of 80DO and I am excited, thrilled, elated. I not only finished this program but I got amazing results my first go around. I am seeking even better results this time. And today as I was crushing goals I found myself in aw of myself. No shame in my game. I have more definition than ever and feel stronger than ever. 1️⃣ PIKE & PLANKS - very important to keep your core braced the whole time and to drive your hips upward instead of back like downward facing dog! .

Tonight was our weekly #teamschmidtfit live at-home workout! All is needed is space as big as a bath towel and bands!

This is a time where we come together as a team, a group of women, friends, and get a killer workout in! Today was about being slow and controlled to build those buns, hun, and work on abs!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s what a workout typically looks like:
Warm up:
1. Cat cow
2. Bird dog
3. Glute stretch
4. Quad stretch
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Workout:
20 secs work, 10 arcs rest (I count the reps and time)
1. Pulse squats
2. Pulse lunges
3. Groin alternations
4. Quadruped Glute around the world’s
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Abs:
20 secs work, 10 arcs rest (I count the reps and time)
1. Knee to elbow
2. Lower ab twist
3. Overhead scissor
4. Slow mountain climber

Cool down/mobility flow/chug our recovery drinks😂😂

Steaming back in with a twenty minute hiit workout for y'all! 💪🏼I was reminiscing and scrolling through old instagram posts this morning during coffee time and I just could not stop smiling at all the silly workout videos and mouth watering plates of healthy goodness I was sharing with all you on an almost perfect daily basis. Yes, I have still been getting my sweat sesh in every day and eating the goods, but I have just been feeling a little more reserved and private about it all. I think we need to respect our feelings and listen to them. I am a phases kind of gal. I go through spurts of motivation, outgoing-ness, bouts of energy, forwardness and then tend to withdrawal, reflect, and be antisocial. 😂 In these moments of being inward I am still driving forward and keeping up with the hustle and bustle it just becomes a more private and quiet matter. And I'm totally OK with it. I think the term monsoon accurately describes my tendencies. 😏 ..

Anyway, something was tugging on my heart to post a workout this morning. I love, love fast moving full body workouts. Twenty minutes is like a good time frame for me. I warmed up with ten minutes on the elliptical then jumped right into it. I wrote down eight exercises for a minute each with a fifteen second break/ dance party in between each exercise. I then proceeded to do it all over again for a glorious duration of twenty sweaty minutes. I get way too bored in a workout if I'm not moving fast. And when I'm bored I tend to give up. I think it's because I'm a busy mama and if I have more than two seconds to think then I talk myself out of it and decide that I have much more important things to tend to. 😂 ..

👈🏼THIS!!! I’d like to say I’m committed to a “gym” but that’s impossible when you have no family close by to watch the kids so you can actually “escape” the #MumLife. But I’m committed to my training at home with my 2 little side kicks watching on and constantly interrupt my sessions... but even in saying that, it’s still my own mental escape for 30 minutes where I get to do something that makes me feel great and sets me up for a good day. It’s literally the only thing that gets me through the day without turning me psycho haha move a little everyday and your mind and body will thank you for it! .
