DOG SQUAT PROGRESSIONS 💪🏼🐶⬇️
1. Squat to Box with Dog Pet
If you’re a beginner, squatting to a box is a safe and effective way to learn how to squat correctly. It teaches you to sit your butt back and gives you a target to aim for.
2. Squat to Box with Dog/Weight
Once you feel comfortable squatting your own body weight you can try holding a weight in front of you. A dog, dumbbell, or kettle bell will do. Preferably a dog.
3. Full Depth Dog Squat
When you master the box squat it is time to remove the box and see if you can squat and maintain control without the box for assistance! Still sit but back as if the box were there !
4. Single Leg Squat
Once you master the two legged squat you should try working on your one legged squat !
You can start off without weight , squatting to a box and progress to a full weighted single squat the same way you progressed your two legged squat ! 💪🏼🐶
