I’ve spent a lot of this evening faffing about trying to get a half decent photo of the dishes I’ve been working on. But now at 22.36 on Sunday night, I’ve resigned to the fact that I’ll probably never get one, but hey, I had a brilliant afternoon/evening cooking myself self calm and rustling up these seasonal pumpkin gnocchi with my lovely friend @zorzi.matteo (who also nearly melted in my sweltering flat). We were meant to go cycling today, but instead spent 4 hours trying to get our pumpkin to soften and our gnocchi to sink in hot water without disintegrating like tissue in the washing mashing. Here’s to those friends that always welcome a slight u-turn to an original weekend plan🥂. Marks out of 10 @zorzi.matteo?
Recipe to follow, but ingredients as simple as pumpkin, flour, eggs, salt, sage, olive oil...and Parmesan.
