Because your fur baby was likely your first baby... 🐶🐕🐩🐈 It’s no secret that I LOVE dogs & I love it even more when my families include their pups (and kitties) in their sessions! I’ve pulled together a few of my top tips for including pets in your newborn session over on the blog, here’s a sneak peek: 1. If your pup is energetic, bring baby to a calmed pet rather than placing baby first. Don’t be afraid to use treats 😉 Great options for this include on the master bed or living room floor! 2. Let them roam! I love photographing pets doing their own thing in the background - chewing a bone, looking out the window - it helps capture the atmosphere of what it’s really like having a new baby & a pet as a part of your family & home! 3. Dog hair. Let’s be real: I carry a little bit of #lemonruth with me everywhere I go - but it doesn’t have to be a part of your whole session! I believe a little dog hair never hurt anybody, but if you have a white dog that sheds, you should avoid clingy black fabric like some brands of leggings. Opt for light colored pants or a dress instead! Anyone who has spent time with kids know they can be a uplifting source of joy. Children can trigger strong emotions in people that make them smile, laugh, cry, or even just stare in bewilderment.A LITTLE LOVELY CREATURE ❤ P.S The reason I love kids so much is because they’re so honest, so you know right away if they like you or they don’t.😂 😂 . My heart is melting into a puddle at my feet. A lot of people underestimate what I mean when I say that Chassie is the most nurturing and motherly dog I’ve ever known. Here she is with my 4 day old son, Wade. 😍
She loves her puppy so much 🐶. I love watching them play.
♥️ Kindness. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest accomplishment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. . . . . . . . . . . .
