1500 calorie burn cardio sesh in the books for the night. That’s my version of meal prepping for tomorrow 😜 I want pie! I must earn pie! Got some leg work in as well. No arms though bc they still hurt from training them yesterday!! Thanks trainer Chelsea for pushing me! I feel muscles that haven’t participated in years! Plus increasing arm, shoulder, chest strength is taking some workload off of my back! I’m super sore and hurt in a good way but seriously hoping I can manage my fork for turkey day! 😂Also, today’s cardio is a personal best for time/stamina for me since cardio movement has been a challenge for the last 5 years! Damn sciatica flare ups! The elliptical allows my to glide and change my footing as some as the tingling starts! I Re-adjust and get back at it! Thankful I have the ability to move despite the pain and the chronic health issues! Every single day has its challenges. I need this shirt, lol... Surgery was one week ago. I had a really good day today. I was up and moving more. Even helped my mom @maryannfannon prepare dressing for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Today is her birthday, she's here babysitting me, lol. The last 2 days were awful. I had tons of pain. I barely slept. It hurt even worse to do my exercises (pushed thru anyway). So glad today was better. I needed a break. I still see improvement every day, even on the bad days. Since my August 31st surgery on my right knee, I have been struggling not to limp (compensate) when I walk. I've still been having quite a bit of pain on the inside part of my knee and I'm afraid to put weight on it. I've also struggled to be able to straighten my knee all the way. I have been wearing the socks since about the 10th of November. Today, my boss at work and my dad both complimented me on how well I was walking. I honestly didn't even notice, but the astonished look on their faces told me everything I needed to know. They both asked me what I was doing different and couldn't believe how well I was walking. I'm telling you, it's these socks! The pain is minimal compared to what it was, I'm resting better, and I'm walking better! These were definitely a God-send!

So I've been having back pain for quite some time now. I've tried the typical massage and the gels. Today I tried cupping, @stephymaza recommended it to me the other week. Had it done at 1:30 this afternoon so far my back feels a little less tight. Hoping after a good nights sleep it improves more. Other than that I have these lovely bruises. Great Drill For Lateral Shift During Squat

Top picture is before and bottom picture is after 3rd set of 3x working the left hip flexor for every 1 rep on the right side. ...
I started doing this drill with this client because of some rotation of his spine. This is causing overactivity and tightness in his right glute complex. It also leaves his left hip flexor weak and under active. This drill is to battle both conditions. Keep reading for particulars.⬇️

1. Cross the ankle over the knee and create posterior pelvic tilt. Keep the torso long, hips even.
2. Use knee to drive into ankle activating that hip flexor and releasing opposing glute and tfl.
3. Because the goal is to fix a rotational dysfunction. Perform these movements at on affected side at a 2-1 ratio or higher.
4. I suggest including in both warm up and cool down exercises.
