Had a great weekend with even better friends! With that being said my motto has always been the week starts on Sunday not Monday. Weighed in at 207Lb today up 3 pounds in 2 weeks. Making slow gains but solid ones as well. Can’t wait to crush back and biceps tomorrow with a pull day.

Smashing seated back rows which mainly activates the middle back region πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺ🏻. Instructions: 1)Making sure knees are slightly bent and not locked 2)Arms extended at pull back until your torso is at 90-degree Angle from your legs. Your back should be slightly arched and your chest should be sticking out. You should be feeling a nice stretch on your lats as you hold the bar in front of you. 3)Keeping the torso stationary, pull the handles back towards your torso while keeping the arms close to it until you touch the abdominals. Breathe out as you perform that movement. At that point you should be squeezing your back muscles hard. Hold that contraction for a second and slowly go back to the original position while breathing in. Caution:Avoid swinging your torso back and forth as you can cause lower back injury by doing so

🀨my legs were still super sore from yesterday’s cable workouts so I decided instead of doing a full body workout I would focus on just my upper body. Something I’ve been trying to push myself in since I have like zero upper body strenthπŸ˜’
- after I hit the gym, I spoiled myself at tjmaxx and got 2 new pairs of leggings (my old ones are getting to big) and a few powders/seeds to add to my smoothies and salads.

UPDATE & FINDING ALTERNATIVES πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ Hey all! How is everyone? The video you see here is my t bar row equivalent. My gym is pretty commercial and basic when it comes to weight equipment. Inconvenient but I just had to get my head down and get on with it πŸ’ͺ. ●
For all who are beginning their #fitnessjourney or #physique transformation...when the equipment or resource that you need isnt there or lacking then you gotta look for alternatives to make the most out of your situation. Sometimes it's not possible, but 80% you can make some sort of progress using an alternative method.. better than throwing in the towel right? Right ! ●

Upper body -
1️⃣ Lateral raises
2️⃣ Lat pull-down

Lower body (go as HEAVY as safely possible) -
5️⃣ Squats (I really like sumo & narrow stance)

‼️Attention deadlifters/all who want a strong back‼️ to get a strong, thick, muscular back, you should deadlift heavy. Simple right? Absolutely love these, the underhand bent over rows engage so many muscles at the same time and will really help put on overall size, strength, and thickness.
