Back attack ⚡️⚡️ honestly my lats are nonexistent and my back rarely gets sore, but I’ve been trying out new things at the gym and I’m starting to feel my lats get worn out!! Lets goooo

THE WORKOUT:
1️⃣ SINGLE ARM ROWS (not filmed)
-use a single grip handle on the row machine
-3x10

2️⃣ STRAIGHT ARM PULL DOWNS
-keep your arms straight, maybe a slight bend in the elbow
-hinge should be at the shoulders, not elbows! not for triceps here, so focus on keeping your arms straight
-3x10 (you can see I was dyin ha)

3️⃣ SUPERSET (3 sets)
-10/12 reps of lat pull downs
-immediately superset with a rear delt pull (8-10 reps)

4️⃣ DEADLIFTS
-3x10 reps
-keep a slight bend at the knee so you can realllly work your lower back (takes focus off of hammies & glutes)
-KEEP YOUR BACK STRAIGHT AND STRONG to prevent injury!! no rounded backs!!! 5️⃣ CABLE LAT PULL DOWN
-3x10 reps
-drive elbows towards hips, squeeze your lats at the sides

6️⃣ SEATED ROW MACHINE
-3x10

This workout consists of basic movements NECESSARY in order to grow your back & bicep muscles. These are the exercises you should be focusing on during every single back day — they are the ones that will ultimately develop your back/bis! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember, the basics are the basics for a reason ... they are tried and true and they will not fail you 🙃 Your workouts don’t always have to be complicated and crazy with all different kinds of exercises in order to work — if you’re struggling to make gains or feel overwhelmed with the amount of different exercises/variations you see everywhere & aren’t sure where to start, try sticking with the basics. ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Neutral Grip Lat Pulldown — pull down and back, keep scapula retracted

3️⃣ Bent Over Single Arm Row — stay parallel to ground, pull dumbbell up and back towards hip, try to eliminate swing!
4️⃣ Bicep Curl — keep elbows tight to body

These people are more interested in separating your money from your wallet…. period

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to eat as much as you want as often as you want and have body fat melt away while you sleep, watch TV, or sit behind your desk at work? I’d certainly go for that being able to be fit with very little or no effort at all.

Turn on the TV and what do we see? Television ads promising you weight loss and fitness with no effort. Want to lose that extra fat around your belly? Just take these pills. Walk into the bookstore and browse through the rows and rows of books advocating one diet fad or the other.
.
The problem is that most of them offer conflicting information. I’ll be straightforward in telling you that rather than separating the fat from your body, most of these people are more interested in separating your money from your wallet.
.
I’ve tried many of these diet and exercise fads and can tell you that most of them flat out do not work. Some of the diets will work in the short term but soon or later will fail, and will force your body to do things that it was designed to not do, therefore your body thinks it’s deathly ill and starts burning fat as an energy source. Losing fat is not a bad thing at all, but tricking your body into burning fat by responding with a survival mechanism is. What are the long term effects of these fad diets? Who really wants to live the type of restrictive life that these diets push on you? Who really wants to work hard and suffer for something that in 20 years from now will be the laughingstock of the fitness community? There has to be a better way…

The true path to fat loss is so simple, yet no diet book author would ever admit it. The secret is this:

Burn more calories than you eat thats it!

That’s all. There’s really nothing more to it than that, and you probably already know this! There is no more effective way, no special fruit from the amazon, no machine that you can use that will give you better results.

Hello. It’s me. I was wondering how the hell am I supposed to cope with the fact that I haven’t been #training for a week, and that I won’t be able to do it for many weeks to come? 😫 I knew from the start that when I would get my surgery, I wouldn’t be able to train, but this lying around all day doing nothing (I took 3 #naps today I mean COME ON) is fucking torture 🤯 even more mental than physical.
