BODY BY BANDS.
In the last 2.5 weeks all I have done is 3 band workouts with the @ado_fitness at home resistance bands! As I stated I have been sick and unable to workout so these bands are the one thing allowing me to “hold on”. Speaking of bands, we are almost SOLD OUT of Inventory. We have about 18 units left in stock and once they’re gone we will be out until they're re-stocked ( praying this is mid December) but if you want to insure you get yours before Christmas I recommend you order NOW ( Link in bio). -
I also want to touch on a subject a lot of you ask me and thats how I made my legs smaller. I have mentioned a handful of times that I wanted smaller legs ( specifically quads) after training legs way too heavy for way too long and feeling uncomfortable with the size I had put on. When I dieted down for competitions sure they looked good. But if I put ANY weight on ( which was inevitable) I was uncomfortable and nothing fit me but stretchy pants and leggings. I am SO happy that I fit back into jeans now and my leg size has come down so much. So what did I do?
Well the first thing you must realize is SIZE in muscle comes from a combination of things. First, you must be at a caloric surplus to GROW muscle mass unless you have naturally high testosterone or hormones that help with muscle development or are using anabolic steroids but those are two different subjects I won’t get into. So if you’re eating over maintenance you can grow actual muscle tissue/mass and you also will have muscle fullness/glycogen. The combination of heavy lifting along with a caloric surplus is the easiest way of thinking about trying to put on actual mass. So if you want to lose mass you can do this a handful of ways… you can eat at a deficit and try to “burn” muscle off ( this sucks and isn’t fun) and this is also what happens to a lot of competitors who aren’t smart/strategic when dieting down or you can simply let the muscle atrophy by not working it/using it. Or both. -
I personally used my pregnancy as a time to let my lower body muscle atrophy. I only worked lower body 1x/week throughout my pregnancy and I focused on glute isolation. The last few weeks of my
