I went to #basilthai six days ago and dropped $18 on some #padwoonsen ... Which ... I'll never do again. Do you know that there was a damn string in my meal??? I just moved it out of the way and finished my #lunch. But I actually emailed #basil #thai and let them know the same day. I wasn't irate. I didn't demand a refund or a free meal. I just wanted to let them know so they could make sure it didn't happen again. They could serve a string to the wrong person and f around and get #sued. Someone could #choke. Anything could happen. It's messed up that six days later, they can't even say, "I'm sorry about your dining experience. Thank you for letting us know." Their food has been hit or miss the last few years. This pad woon sen was not #bad -- #foreignobject aside -- but it was #NOT good. It was like a 19 year old made it. Lacked #authentic #flavor. Anyway. Now that i realize their customer service is #garbage, too, I just want to let it be known. Eat there with caution. I could get a better, more authentic meal, without the string, for half the price at #thaithai or #thaitaste or #thaihouse. #basil that is now on my #neveragain list.
