I’ve just recently noticed how much I have been down about the way I look lately... don’t let me lose you I’m not fishing for compliments here I am merely here to be open. -
I have just noticed how -filtered-fake... and unrealistic body images and “lifestyles” I have come across on social media.
I never want to feel like because I am a personal trainer that I HAVE to have THE PERFECT BODY and that I have to flaunt it all over the internet. Gimme some slack I’m a human too. (I wantzzz da cake too okeh?!) -
Ladies, there are tons of different body types. Let’s all be known by first the beauty within us. Confidence radiates brighter and LONGER than a “perfect” body or a 6 Pack. -
Love the body God gave you, and respect it enough to take care of by eating WELL and exercising just a few times a week. -
There is nothing wrong with wanting to gain some muscle or lose some weight.... I’m basically saying don’t get caught up in the filtered lives of those we know nothing about.
I hate saying learn balance but that’s really what it is.
Eat foods that are good for you 85% of the time and give yourself about 15% slack for things you like... going out enjoying a treat ... WHATEVER. -
Like I told my bf the other day... the best diet is the one you will stick to. -
You don’t have to eat chicken and veggies everyday (aka miserable) to be the best you.
The best you.. is the happy you.
