One thing this business has taught me aside from taking time for me, working out and good wholesome natural nutrition is bettering my mind and how to lead. Yes this lady is a shakeo drinking, working out mama but man nothing like waking up and rounding out me time with some personal development. It’s essential to keep learning in life and broadening my horizons. I want to navigate this life with a continued positive outlook and bettering myself. So yes I love my stupid shake and on demand workouts...but this is all about our body, mind and soul. Love my team! Finally got back to the gym on Monday after a week off and have gone everyday 🙌🏼 but oh my gosh I FORGOT MY PHONE yesterday. My music is on my phone, my workout program is on my phone, and you wouldn’t believe how many people you want to text or how many things you want to look up when you don’t have your phone 🤦🏼‍♀️ you better believe I remembered it today 📱 happy hump day y’all! 🐪

I haven't lead this lifestyle long. If you rewind 2 years, I was mentally and physically in a horrible place at that time of my life. I had no confisence or seld esteem, no real friends, my relationship was crumbling from within slowly and painfully. .

One day, after a huge wake-up call from a shitty life event, I had my "fitness epiphany". There were a lot of negatives I couldn't change, but my health wasn't one of them. So I reached out to a long time friend, @tylergfit, and we hit the ground running. My first month of training, I dropped 12lbs from 145 to 133. .
.
Anyone who knows me well, knows I have no throttle control. I'm 0 or 100. 6 months of gym life under my belt and I started my first prep. I loved lifting and dieting. But my relationship was still broken and prep was nearly the last nail in it's coffin. .
.
Overall I came through my 16 week prep, stepped on stage, fell in love, and then...HARD brakes. My life, my family, they needed ME. So I let off the gas. Not completely, but close. .
.
I have spent the last 9 months since competing finding all the speeds between 0 and 100. I have spent weeks away. I have eaten a pack of oreos in a sitting. I've eaten 2 meals all day long. I've done 1 exercise for 2 hours. I have learned. Learned my body. Learned balance. Learned to let go of the meticulous things I'd wrapped my brain around. And I've grown. Not only mentally but physically, not despite this process but because of it. .
.
I show up. I work hard. Really fucking hard, and it shows. I eat. I rest. I go out with this incredible tribe I have grown from living this lifestyle. I love my family and put them first. And I love it. All it.

So anyway, here's some chest and shoulder stuff from today. Benching the 50s after never even having been able to put up the 45s last time I did db bench. .

As I was taking this “sexy” photo of my Smoked Salmon, Avocado and Brown Rice, I thought - this is dumb and not sexy! The bottom line - it’s not about the sexy factor of the food we eat to fuel our bodies but how sexy is makes you feel! .
At the end of 2018 I started my umpteenth round #Arbonne30DayHealthyLiving. The difference between this time, and every other, I had some serious weight to lose from eating my way through Nashville.

I was strict for the first 30-45 days and, since mid-November, relaxed to more of an 80/20 lifestyle. I don’t deprive myself, but I don’t let myself lose control either.
.
Today I’m down a total of 10 inches in my legs, hips and tummy and maintained about 15 lbs of weight loss. .
The bottom line - this works! It’s proven! I’ve helped both men and women take steps towards achieving their health goals, others have hit their goals, and others have a whole new relationship with food! .
Arbonne changes lives, it’s changed my life in so many positive ways! I can truly say that I am healthier from the inside out and living the best version of myself! .
I earn money doing what I love! I help people and help bring out the best version of themselves! What’s more rewarding than that? .

Doing my best to focus on what I do have rather than all the things I don’t. I don’t have a Lamborghini or a mansion but I do have a car and roof over my head. ⁣

I’m lucky to have access to good health care over here. The doctors can be RUDE by at least I can go and see one when I need to. ⁣

I can’t work a mainstream job but I can work from the Internet at home in bed. It provides me with all the things I need to keep my working mentally and I love it so it doesn’t feel like work. It helps me keep focused and work on my goals which I never did before. ⁣

If we focus on what we don’t have we can’t move forward. If we think about all the things we do have we will rise above ourselves and be the best version of us that we can be. ⁣

I do what I do to be there for my girls. This baby girl right here is my fourth and youngest daughter Lily Pie. She even at her young age encourages me everyday. 1 year ago I decided I needed a change of pace in my health. I had a 6 month old baby and I didn’t feel like myself and I needed an outlet. I caught myself looking at pictures and videos of myself when I was in great shape my 2nd year of teaching. I jumped at the first chance I got to join a workout group and for a few months I went all in. Then I stopped. It got too hot to take Finn with me and Corey was stationed in Florida, so I took a step back and went back to my old routines and eating habits.
In June my really good friend said to me, “Hey, I started this thing and I want you to do it with me.” Again, I jumped because I NEEDED a change and this one sounded like it was something I could maybe do. It was at home and I wouldn’t have to worry about finding what to do with Finn. I did 1 program and then fell off the wagon. I later realized it was because I didn’t plug myself in to the accountability group and I didn’t take eating correctly seriously. This year I said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. 6 weeks ago I said that I was going to go ALL in. And I did. Things got in my way, but I’ve persevered this far. Have I been 100% committed? No, but I’ve been more committed than I have been in a LONG time and I feel the changes. I’m getting ready to restart this program again on Monday. Is it time for you to jump?
