How incredibly majestic are these animals!
Seriously who can't LOVE whales? There is nothing more humbling and beautiful than the sound of whales singing in the ocean! I know for me it strikes a chord so deep that I feel it in my soul! Such a profound connection to these beautiful animals: the rawness, strength yet vulnerability fills me with an intense urge and need to protect these wild beings.
Our daily consumption habits and choices, in particular plastic consumption, are having a devastating impact on our Earth and the Ocean. All the plastic we have created over the past 100 years still exists on this beautiful planet in some way, shape or form. Affecting our ecosystem and all the beloved animals, including these humpback whales.
But it is not too late, we can help reduce our impact on the Big Blue. By reducing our plastic consumption and therefore waste, we can create meaningful change in this world. What is something in your life that you can substitute with a sustainable alternative? Is it investing in a reusable water bottle? Or maybe bringing your own coffee cup to your local cafe? Or could be saying NO to straws?
My point is, that there are so many ways people can contribute in their small way. Could you imagine if everyone in this world replaced one single plastic item with a natural, sustainable alternative? Overnight that would be over 7 Billion items of plastic that would forever NOT be in circulation on this Earth! WOW!
Massive Thank you to @plasticfreemermaid for this incredible photo, plus all the epic work you are doing for our Oceans. Thank you PS. Is there anyone else out there that is SO excited for the Whale season?
