“Thoughts become things” @kaigreene quote This next morning I want you to wake up and have a goal set in mind that you wish to be in the future. Keep that goal in your head and work and work and do anything it takes to get you to each stage you have to go through to reach the top.
Today’s SWAT training day landed me at @upstateempirefitness this morning for a cardio spin class and then strength training. I took the opportunity to get week 17 #deloadweek speed bench training done. DB flat bench 100 3x3, cable fly 85 3x6, tricep dip station BW 3x6 and DB curls 40 3x6. Left our mark on the chalk wall 👍🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸
Training with @brandon_amaro_92 for the past month has been great! I’ve noticed a big increase in the weight I can move and the amount of reps I can push. Having someone there getting in your head and pushing you farther than what you think your limits are is important. I never realized it until having Brandon as a coach. Just a month before I was only hitting 55 lb dumbbells in an incline bench like this and now I hit 80 lb dumbbells 7 times for two sets. I surprised myself and had no idea I could until he said “What’s holding you back just try it or at least feel the weight so you know what it’s like” @joey2chos told me I could do it as well and give me those positive words to push me to my limits! 💪🏼👊🏼 #BiggerBytheDay#SleepWhenYoureDead
Over the course of my journey I have had people tell me I will never be where I want to be. I’ve had them tell me that I’m worthless and fat. Every name above. But these comments make me stronger, they make me want to succeed more and prove them wrong day by day. One day I will be on that Olympia stage and I don’t care how many people say I won’t I believe I will, and when I do you’ll be sat there like a miserable bastard because I proved you wrong. I believe I can make that dream.
I want you all to know to not let anyone bring you further away from you want to be, never give up and always work, dedicate yourself and believe you can be something you wish to be. Always keep your head up high and work day by day towards your goals
