A quick outtake of my deload chestworkout today. Pumped away some 52,5kg dumbells.

When I am no carb and deloading for a competition I like to hit every muscle group individually.
I think I haven’t had one chestday in a few years😄.
Even with no carb I don’t feel empty but I tryed to empty the tank as much as possible with 3-4 sets each exercise.

I really look forward to the competition on sunday but even more to getting strong again in the offseason.
This is what I love training hard heavy and controlled. Missed this a few months now.

Sliding in a metabolic delt and armsession per werk serves my cns so well and helps me to feel my weaknesses even better.

Don‘t let anybody tell you how you have to hit a certain bodypart. I personally love highrep tricepswork but biceps in a lower reprange both with perfect peak contractions.

So try and error but don‘t just add sets and volume if a musclegroup is lacking.

Make sure execution is perfect, if you just add volume you will possibly get even more unsymmetrical cause you don‘t hit that wanted musclegroup.

As you can see it‘s always againd and again a learning process that never stops and I love exactly that about the sport of bodybuilding.

Recruiting maximum of pecfibres:
There is often the issue that people cannot recruit as much chest fibres as they want.

If you are one of these people try the „cuffed incline cable fly“.
You can put this exercise first(activation, preexhausting) or last(pumpstuff) in your workout.

Anytime you can turn something that supposed to be flat into a slight incline you will probably line up better with your upperchest fibres.
Cuffs are there to take out the wrists so you can really focus on the contraction and not the grip.

The line up is set that really the only contact point you have at the bench is right between your shoulderblades.
Pulling your shoulderblades as far back as possible whilst keeping the shoulders down, gives you a perfect starting position for the cuffed incline cable flyes.
So keep your position fixed the whole time and focus on only flexing your pecs at the top position.

Gotta say that I have had a Virus for this last 2 days. Not hitting my macros and the low intensity trainings have been the worst part since I have a goal to achieve for myself. With this said , not everyday will be the best, but you got to keep in mind that there will be paths in life that will make you struggle a little bit,getting you out of track, but never assume that set backs mean you are quitting or that you are weak, they just mean we are humans and stuff happen. .
Soooo after you recover from the bump on the road, keep your head up high and keep moving forward toward your goal🤘🏼🖤

It was quite a tough day, because my body still has to get used to the volume. It even got so bad that I was lying down for 10 minutes after my squat session to recover.
(Thanks @the_deadliftbear 😂😂) I also did a lot of accessoire work at the end. In addition, I have also received alot of tips & tricks from my coach. So it was a good training session.

Was able to hit my goal of 4 sets of 12 in the Dumbbell Romanian Deadlifts. Each set I increased the weight ending with 60lbs. Next I will be increasing Weight by 5lbs.
