Staff spotlight of the week! Re-Cyclery technician Andy has been with TFKC since 2001 and has loved biking since he was a kid. Once he found the Re-Cyclery, he never wanted to leave! Andy says the Re-Cyclery is “a bikers toy store.” In his free time, he enjoys being outside, spending time with his 17-year-old daughter and playing with his dogs.
Andy’s favorite part of TFKC is our Earn-A-Bike program because you watch kids who have never had a bike before earn their bike. He believes the Re-Cyclery is the perfect place for people who are trying to decide if they want to get in to biking because of the lower cost. If you are an avid biker, he believes it is the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind or obscure things. “I like saving parts and you never know what people are going to be looking for.” Next time you need a unique part, it is likely that Andy has it for you! •
Fun fact: Andy has a colorful, single speed cruiser collection (half a dozen bikes!) decked out with accessories - every color is represented!
Favorite snack: Dill pickle chips
Fav summer activity: Biking when the sun is low and temperatures are low

Staff spotlight of the week!Meet the newest addition to our team, Anna! Anna officially joined TFKC in 2018 as our Program Director, but learned about the organization in 2010 when she participated in the painting of the Re-Cyclery mural.
At the time, she was working in an inner-city school and knew that the ride program would be an amazing opportunity for her students. She was able to see how doors were opened for her students through mountain biking over the course of three years.
She loves the mission of TFKC and is excited for the possibilities in terms of growth and further reach in our community. In her free time Anna enjoys being outside, reading and spending time with her family, which includes her husband, daughter and two foster children.
Fun fact: Anna’s family has 4 chickens!
Favorite snacks: Chocolate & fruit
Favorite summer activities: Carrigan Farms Rock Quarry ♂️
