Has the offering plate ever come around and you try not to make eye contact or pretend you’re getting something?
Money is a hard subject! Money is in the top reasons for #divorce , so obviously it can tear people apart. I believe churches avoid talking about it too so they don’t come off as “guilting” the congregation.
Well I have no agenda so I dont mind talking about it Tithing has been the answer to our financial needs. Tim’s job and me coaching provides the money BUT what we do with it next is what’s MOST important. Everytime we’ve gone out of our comfort zones with giving, God has blessed us in another area.
If your spouse is uncomfortable giving a certain amount or giving in general, pray for them. Give up something YOU spend on to put towards the offering. Track it, the blessings in your life, and then show your spouse at a later date. You might be surprised when they are earger to give once you show them the byproduct blessings.
God ALWAYS rewards his children when they give toward his kingdom. And let me be clear it won’t always be monetary blessings but I promise you it’ll be worth it
