January 2018 ⏩September 2018
Roughly the same weight in both photos but changing your body takes time! Don't buy in to anyone offering insane, fast transformations.
The differences I see - more quad, glute, hamstring muscle making them appear slimmer and firmer while the same weight (muscle weighs more than fat). Tighter core, slimmer arms, all within just a 2 pound difference.
How did I do it?!
1. Proper nutrition / macro tracking / listening to my own biofeedback regarding when to refeed. I am currently working to build my metabolism into a brick house so macros have been going UP UP UP and i am still losing fat (ask me how)
2. Training SMARTER not HARDER. Every movement I do in the gym has a purpose and is backed my science. You won't see me doing any fancy, super "cool" exercises in the gym.
3. Allowing myself to rest when I need it! This has been the biggest change in my training and mentality this year. I used to be terrified to take time off, to eat more, or reschedule a workout if I'm exhausted. But listening to my body and resting more (I've taken probably 2-3 rest days a week for the past month) has benefitted my progress so much!
