SELF CARE SUNDAY
When your cup is full and your fire is bright you’re better able to “stay with the trouble” of these times. Let’s gather on the 3rd Sunday each month for connection and care with discussion and yoga.
Autumn Series: Reading and Yoga with “Emergent Strategy” - Sunday, September 16 4-6pm
- Sunday, October 21 4-6pm
- Sunday, November 18 4-6pm
How do you and the groups you inhabit create and adapt to change? “Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds” by @adriennemareebrown is “...radical self-help, society-help, and planet-help designed to shape the futures we want to live.” Throughout this 3-month series of Self Care Sundays we will read and discuss “Emergent Strategy” together to explore how we as individuals and organizations effect and respond to change. We will support this exploration with appropriate and accessible yoga practices including movement, breathwork, and meditation.
Many of the key elements which make up the process of emergent strategy can also be found in yoga tradition and process - biomimicry, micro to macro relationship, interconnectedness, and creating possibilities are a few of them. Each month we’ll focus on one of these ideas.
